Our van is fully insured for your peace of mind. Not only do we have fully comprehensive cover, each van load is covered for loss or damage up to £10,000 during transit. Further cover can be arranged if required.
If we are required to travel through the congestion zone between 07:00 and 18:00, Monday to Friday, there will be an additional charge of £9. More info.
For any move that requires us to travel outside of the M25 we have fuel charge which covers our biodiesel costs. We calculate the fuel charge by the mile and as biodiesel is significantly cheaper than mineral diesel bought from a forecourt, it may not be as much as you might think!
• Arrange a parking space. If you have the opportunity to arrange or secure a parking space as close to the front of the property as possible, then that would be really helpful.
• Packing. Please make sure that all your belongings are packed before arrival. Larger items and boxes should be accessible, as these will be packed into the van first. Also any fragile or delicate items should be packed securely. We have plenty of removal blankets to protect your belongings and of course will take plenty of care, but better safe then sorry.
The Green Man & Van is ever expanding. We are currently running vehicles of 2 different sizes.
The Luton van is big and boxy, we find it is perfect for a 2 bedroom house/flat move. If you your move is larger then we'll provide multiple vehicles.
The Hi-top, long wheelbase Transit Van is ideal for smaller flat moves and furniture collection and delivery. It doesn't have the loading capacity of the Luton but really can carry a surprising amount.
